so throw your mittens around your kittens and away we go!

Mittens!!!
I'm calling them my Strawberry Shortcake mittens.

Yes, it is now getting warmer in Florida, and yes, I will probably not get to wear them (if only they had been finished for the cold cold morning that greeted me as I stepped out the door on Friday).

I think they look lovely with my red jacket.

I used my kool-aid yarn that we dyed at the Angels summit - I'm sure they'll keep my fingers toasty warm.

Also, I did finish a sock sometime back in December. I have started on the matching sock, but only time will tell when it will be finished.

I fear that I am now looking ahead to warmer weather wears and am in the market for a nice lightweight cardigan that I'll be able to wear in the warmer months. In other words, March through November. So many potential projects, so little time.

Yay mittens! Yay, a sock! Both brilliant stuff. I particularly like the mittens - they do look a bit edible. In terms of suggestions for a spring cardigan have you seen the post that Axe made on the knitwits LJ group regarding the new Rowan mag? Plenty of food for thought there I would think :)

KOOL AID MITTENS! They look adorable! I must do something with my summit yarn ... but I think I've got a lot of work ahead of me to dig them out first. :)

Love the sock, too! What a cheery way to start the day with a fresh pair of fun socks!

Love the mittens! the swirly red makes them look like starlight mints. Yummy!

Great looking socks! You will definitely have a very well dressed pair of feet.
